The overall programme is made up of six thematic components and three cross-cutting issues. PKSF, as the core implementing partner of the project, will implement Livelihood, Nutrition and Community Mobilization components through its selected Partner Organizations (POs). The three other components of the project—Market Development, Policy Advocacy and Life Cycle Grant Pilot—are to be implemented by other stakeholders of PPEPP. Three thematic areas which will be addressed as cross-cutting issues: Disaster and Climate Resilience, Disability and Women’s Empowerment Leading Gender Equality.
Disability: PPEPP is designed to address the specific needs of extremely poor people with disabilities. Where possible, livelihoods opportunities will be tailored to their specific capabilities. PPEPP will seek to increase access to targeted social safety nets, where needed, to ensure basic needs are met and specific services are provided. Community level work will build social support for people with disabilities, and support national and local advocacy for increased access to basic services.
